Pino, the founder of the Young Technicians Training Scheme, focuses largely on teaching and driving forward the Young Technicians programme. He has worked in the industry both on stage in touring bands and off stage in lighting and sound production for nearly 20 years and as a Music and Performing Arts Technician in a secondary school for 7 years.
His commitment and strong belief really does shine through. He believes in investing in education and delivering a highly successful training scheme for everyone. Pino looks forward to seeing his Young Technicians working in a live environment after putting all of the training into real life action.
Director and Course Tutor
David takes care of the management for training in all aspects of the live industry. He has been working both on stage and off stage since the age of 10 and has worked as a sound engineer and stage manager for over 8 years as well as having trained in Music Technology. His wealth of knowledge and experience makes him able to plan the course to suit the best of our students needs.
David works very closely with Pino to plan and organise all live events, he is also always looking for new opportunities to get the Young Technicians involved in. You will often find David Managing a Young Technicians live event supporting and assisting students.
Course Tutor and Arts Award Administrator
Daniel was one of our original Young Technician students. From day 1, Daniel has always gravitated to lighting. Young Technicians has helped shaped Daniel into the fantastic lighting engineer he is today, Daniel uses his wealth of knowledge to create and lead our lighting course. As well as teaching Lighting,
Daniel is also an Arts Award administrator, supporting students with their awards which all students get the opportunity to do as part of the scheme.
Daniel can be seen at most festivals supporting students behind the lighting desk or even taking over himself for some concerts.
